Children between the ages of 6 weeks to 5 years old are eligible for enrollment at Smart Cookie Childcare.  Children may attend SCC during the hours of 8:00am-5:30pm. 

Admission Policy: To begin the enrollment process at SCC, an interested parent/guardian will meet with the director/owner at an agreed location. Following the initial screening, parent/guardian will complete a tour at the learning facility. Parent/Guardians are encouraged to bring the child to the tour. During this process, we will discuss the SCC policies and procedures. After the tour, parent/guardians will be contacted about their acceptance status within 24 to 48 hours.  Please note: Parents will not be accepted on spot. There may be other families interested in the same spot and SCC will consider each application and make a selection that will best fit for the program. Parent/Guardian will confirm interest of enrollment and be provided all documents. The enrollment packet includes:

• Child Information Record

• Child In Care Statement/Receipt

• Medication/Over the Counter Permission Form

• Permission for Non-transport and transport Form

• Photograph Waiver

During the enrollment process, families will complete the forms and provide documentation of immunization/additional health documents. Children without immunization will need a signed document from the child’s doctor.

When the enrollment forms are returned and the required registration fee of $35 is paid, a contract will be completed.  The family will be scheduled for the child to begin attendance and the payment for the week will be due at that time to start.
